The original recipient was a student of that school who, realizing that it was a unique message created especially for her by her beloved, was overcome with joy and shared it with everyone. The message goes:
tell me to leave and i'll stay even longer,
tell me to let go and i'll hold you tighter
tell you hate me and i'll love you much better
tell me this love's only for now and i'll make it forever
